Can't Wait to Get Back to my Element

I'm in class right now and I had a rough night but the thing that stays on my mind is being back in the water. I love how calming it is and I know I wrote a blog about surfing before but I just need to write it again. There is no place like California or Hawai'i, I lived away for 6 months and I'm dying out here in the inland area. I'm an adventurous and active type of person or a thrill seeker. I noticed people out here are different than back home, it seems more laid back at home and I feel like a stranger out here. Not many people out here have the Aloha spirit and I try hard to create some fun out here but I feel like only a few want to have the fun and I try hard to make people happy out here and smile but I seriously don't know what I'm doing wrong, maybe it's just me. All I got out here is court volleyball which I shouldn't even be playing, I miss beach volleyball and all the people back home. Don't get me wrong, there are a few people out here that I can call my friends and I extend the invitation to come out to California or Hawai'i to have fun with me. No worries because I'll be back home in 8 days, stopping off in Salt Lake City for 4 days lay over. Oh, on another note, I seriously have let myself go haha like I haven't been going on adventures or working out or exercising, I feel fat and not as fit as I use to be haha.. for real dawg!
